In July 2009, Association Concepts, LLC was established with the goal of solving a problem: providing product development and gap coverage for trade associations to support members that were unable to gain credible health coverage.
In March 2010, however, coverage options changed with the creation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA or “Obamacare”). While veteran insurance agents and agencies rejected the ACA’s value and opportunities, Association Concepts, LLC fully committed to the cause of promoting the ACA’s core values and benefits throughout the agent community.
To reflect its shift from association benefits, Association Concepts, LLC adopted the assumed name “Agility Insurance Services” (Agility). Despite the ACA’s shaky start in the fall of 2013, Agility established itself as a leading General Agency (GA) in Texas and was able to navigate the challenges resulting from evolving policy, politics, and Supreme Court rulings. Agility followed the expansion footprint from the national carriers and soon established itself as one of the leading distribution companies for life, accident, supplemental, and group and individual health insurance throughout the United States.
Currently, Agility has over 50 partnerships with some of the largest insurance companies in the United States, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Centene, and Aetna, to name a few. These partnerships have allowed our agents to offer individual, group, life, and Medicare plans specific to the needs of their clients, solidifying Agility’s position as an industry leader in the life and health insurance markets. In August 2021, Agility’s legal name was legally changed from Association Concepts, LLC to Agility Insurance Services, LLC.
